  8. Here are the files required to create and update the C_Worthy
  9. "System Messages" and "System and Program Help" files.  You
  10. must use the "REDO$XRS.BAT" file, which calls my "MajorHed.Exe"
  11. program to merge them into a single XRSLANG.DLL file for your
  12. new National Language Support file.

  14. NOTES:
  15.  
  16.  1) XRS checks to be sure that the date/time stamp on XRSLANG.DLL
  17.     is at least as new as the program itself!  (you must 'Touch'
  18.     the time-stamp when new versions come out, even if there are
  19.     no changes to the contents of the file!)  If you don't have a
  20.     'Touch' utility (such as 'FD' or 'FileDate' - Norton Utils),
  21.     type "COPY XRSLANG.DLL+,,/B" which will not change the file,
  22.     but will reset the timestamp to the current time (obscure DOS
  23.     trickery, eh?).

  25.  2) The offset to any one of the four segments combined into the
  26.     single "Major Header" file must not be > 32767, or C_Worthy
  27.     will be unable to access the System Messages!  If you get an
  28.     error message during the merge, you *MUST* shorten the size
  29.     of the PROGRAM HELP MESSAGE file (not the System Messages!).
